Submission / Format requirements

The UEI Research School will host both Paper Development Workshops (PDW) and Emerging Paper Sessions (EPS).

Submit paper to the Paper Development Workshops (PDW). The abstract is due on June 15th, 2026. The abstract is a maximum of 1,000 words. Upon acceptance, please notify us if you plan to join the conference. The deadline for the full paper is September 1st, 2026. Full papers are 10,000 words maximum including references.

Submit an abstract to the Emerging Paper Sessions (EPS). These sessions allow scholars to give and receive feedback on developing ideas or ongoing work that still needs to be developed into a full paper. To participate in these sessions, abstracts must be submitted by July 10, 2026, and should be no longer than 1,000 words.

Submission guidelines for abstract

Authors are invited to submit an abstract of up to 1,000 words (excluding references), including (if applicable):

  • Research objectives and question
  • Theoretical positioning
  • Methodology and empirical setting
  • Results (obtained or expected)
  • Theoretical and/or practical contributions

Format requirements: Times New Roman, 12 pt · Single-spaced · 2.5 cm margins · References APA Style
